Kibergneset

Walking 25 km from Persfjord, we passed Vardø and went straight to Kibergneset, which is the most easterly point of the main land of Norway. This is our last and final mile stone for our trip, reaching last extreme point of Norway! Here we made camp amongst the ruins from the 2. World war. The Germans had a big costal fort her, where they could watch and attack any ship going near the cost towards Russia. Not much remains intact of the fort, as it seems people after the war tried to erase all traces of the Germans. We made the best out of the conditions and celebrated with a small barbeque.
