Forolhogna national park

Norway still has surprises for us and this time it’s a national park that we did not know about. Not as mystical and special as Knutshø, but still it’s an amazing place with many of the same features as Knutshø. We have not seen any wild reindeer for the last weeks that we have been walking, even though the reindeer should be thriving in these lands. Wild reindeer are very shy, so it’s not really that surprising. But to our surprise, we woke up to a herd of about 100 reindeer 50 meters from our tent. They left in a hurry when they caught glimpses of us, but we saw them again later that day and could gaze at them for an hour.
