We are finally here! Nordkapp! The northernmost point of Noraway and also the whole of mainland Europe. To get here, we first had to walk the 7 kilometre long underwater tunnel to Magerøya island. This was kind of a new milestone achievement, since this was the lowest we have ever been on the trip, 212 meters under the sea! Not the most exiting hike we have done, but still a fun thing to have done. The day after we skied the last 35 kilometres out to the Nordkapp plateau. The sun was shining, but it was very windy out here. I even had to be tethered as not to be blown away! I would not like being sent out to sea again, especially not in the cold Barents sea! Happily I stayed securely fastened and we could all enjoy a magnificent sunset.
