Staying right outside the lighthouse at Lindesnes gave us the opportunity to talk with one of the two lighthouse keepers stationed there. Through my brilliant conversation skills, I managed to get us a private tour of the lighthouse at night. The lighthouse keeper eagerly showed us around, giving us a wonderful insight of all the workings of the lighthouse. He probably loved that we all were so interested in this piece of old technology, you could almost call it ancient technology, since the prism is over 163 years old!
