From one cool cabin to another

After staying for some days at Skarvereiret, grounded by the weather, we continued our journey over Hallingskarvet. Our next camp is at a new cool cabin, Lordehytta (Lords hut), built in 1880 by the eccentric lord Garvagh. It was originally built as a hunting cabin and was the finest one amongst the other cabins that he built. Nowadays the cabin (or hut), is used as an emergency shelter since it’s so primitive. We like such primitive living arrangements, so for us it’s a cool place to stay for some days.

Like I said, the cabin is a bit primitive and not very well insulated…

Small and primitive, but perfect for our taste
